Description:

We are organizing a grand, New Orleans style jazz funeral procession in Lou's honor and we want YOU (yes, you, Mr/s Poopy Pants) to participate!

We hope to see you in your finest, funkiest, furriest, nakedest, silliest, loudest playawear If you are a musician and can bring your instrument (or any instrument) to the playa, please do so. For those of you who are not or cannot, KAZOOS will be provided!! 30 minutes before sundown The Grand Procession will begin the S L O W pilgrimage to The Temple. Funeral hymns and slow dirges will be played as we mourn the loss of our beloved.

Once we reach the temple, we will hold space for people to share stories, poems, and songs by, about or in honor of Lou. Everyone and anyone is encouraged to share if they feel so compelled. During the sharing, the ethereal sounds of gongs, singing bowls and other tribal/ancient noise-makers will be heard (so again, if you have this stuff, bring it).

As the sharing comes to its natural end, and in celebration of the life that still courses through those that loved Lou and in gratitude for the memories we are lucky enough to retain, The Grand Procession will commence its boisterous, joyous, fiery, celebratory meandering return to the FunCult Camp, where we will party in honor of the funny, talented, brilliant, silly, loving, supportive, haiku-loving, leather-working, story-telling, sugar-feinding, egg-poaching, jewelry-making, appreciator-of-all-things-small, fire-breathing man we all loved so much.
