Stargazing

Come see the full Moon, Jupiter, the stars, the Andromeda galaxy, and the majestic disk of our home galaxy, the Milky Way! We'll have a few small telescopes and pairs of binoculars to share, and you are more than welcome to bring your own. We will be having a laser-pointer-guided star tour as well as astrophysicists on hand to answer all your burning questions about outer space, black holes, planets, comets, dark matter, dark energy, and the cosmos. Our plan is to meet at Fire of Fires (the temple), and then wander out into the playa for a better view away from the city lights. Unfortunately, we will not have any astrologers on hand to discuss your horoscope. 2009 is the international year of astronomy, celebrating 400 years of using telescopes -- join us!
