Description:
PIÑATA'S REVENGE is a moving interactive performance in which a 'Living Piñata' is suspended from a giant seesaw boom above an Art Car, the PiñataMobile. One at a time, individuals will be allowed to engage the Living Piñata in traditional piñata-combat--involving padded bats.
Just as with a traditional piñata, if people strike the Living Piñata's body hard enough, treasures will 'bleed' forth.
But unlike a traditional piñata, people will have to strike with care, because THIS TIME the Piñata will ALSO be armed with a padded bat--with which to exact its revenge!
Behold--PIÑATA'S REVENGE!

In 2010 our 'Living Piñatas' will appear as Fritz-Lang-inspired robots from Metropolis. In this way the classic battle between Man and Piñata will come to symbolize the quintessential struggle of Modernity--between Man's natural and mechanical selves.
