Camp Nomadia founders Seeder & Serolynne (www.technomadia.com) have been living together technomadically since May 2007, having giving up their conventional fixed homes to create a conscious merging of life, work, sustainable living, travel, community and adventure. They currently base their adventures out of their custom built, solar-powered, and thoroughly geeked-out 17’ fiberglass trailer. Their geographic flexibility has allowed them to travel back and forth across the continent, attending interesting events (and regional burns!), meeting amazing people, and seeing incredible things -- all without sacrificing their ability to run their software development and consulting business, or lessening their ties to friends, family, and community.

Some of the other experienced technomads from Camp Nomadia will also be sharing their stories, offering up practical advice and insights to help others make the leap to a life without a fixed home base.

This workshop will focus on practical tips on how to leave a fixed-place existence behind and explore a life of technomadism. Topics covered will include selecting the right arsenal of technology to work successfully on the road, constructing your ideal mobile home (wheels, sails, backpacks, or...), and legal issues such as domicile, voting, vehicle registration, and taxes.
Immediately after the Technomadic Lifestyle Workshop there will be a Nomadic Happy Hour, so plan to hang around to mix and mingle with a bunch of other current and future nomads.

Camp Nomadia is intentionally unplaced this (our third) year, so check for our on-playa location at Playa Info (and likely on our website as well) and come find us.
