Capoeira is an afro-brazilian martial art developed in Brazil during the era of slavery. Afro-brazilians camouflaged this martial art with elements of dance and music in order to hide the combative
purpose of Capoeira from white slave owners. In this workshop we will teach Capoeira through movement and music.
