In the Burning Man spirit of love and celebration, the Lollipop Guild will perform non-binding Playa weddings for you and yours; embracing diversity and encouraging creativity.
It is our goal to present these weddings as a celebration of love while embracing the moment and enjoying life! Our unions are a quasi-political statement noting that diversity in love is as unique as the individuals involved and that happiness is a right for everyone. We encourage you to embrace what moves you and enjoy your very own OUTrageous ceremony!
Your special bonding ceremony will be complete with classic attire options,
music, guests, decorations and digital photography. Or add your own personal
touch by wearing your favorite outfit or nothing at all. Bring your in-laws,
your camp-mates, or your brand new friends. Walk away with a personalized
certificate to commemorate this extraordinary event and the digital photos that are taken of you will be made available online soon after Burning Man.
Multiple people or objects may be joined together in one playa union. Feel free to marry your loving partner, your trick from last night, your sexual enhancement apparatus, your favorite vegetable, your best friend or your 3 best friends. It's all good!
Weddings will be performed in the Lollipop Guild Chapel Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Then, on Friday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, be sure to join us as we host a mass wedding reception for all of
those who have participated in the weddings. Cocktails will be provided. We hope to see you there!
