“It is NOT events that bother us, but OUR THOUGHTS about those events.” - This participatory and experiential workshop will bring you freedom from our stressful thoughts. Thoughts like… “People should appreciate me more. My parents should have been more available. I’m missing my life mission.” … these thoughts can run undetected in the background of our mind and sap our energy and enthusiasm. When I think “no one likes me” then I don’t return phone calls, I don’t initiate conversations and thus I bring about the exact thing which I believe.
Using group work, guided meditation, and written exercises, this workshop will show you how to make friends with the mind. We will create an atmosphere of open, honest and authentic communication to allow participants to feel safe to explore thoughts that they are ashamed of. I believe that every thought has a valuable gem of wisdom to offer us and the workshop is a playground for looking at how that is true.
