Description:

So you want a good start to your day? Then what a better way than Surya Namaskar with the Beavers? Please join CBGB in a 2,500 year old yogi tradition of honoring the sun, Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation). The Sanskrit word namaskar stems from namas, which means "to bow to" or "to adore." Surya Namaskar, is a series of 12 postures performed in a single, graceful flow. Each movement is coordinated with the breath; Inhale as you extend and stretch, and exhale as you fold and contract. The Sun Salutation builds strength and increases flexibility while removing mental dirt, revitalizing your body, relieving stiffness and restoring balance. This workshop is open to all individuals’ who possess a mat or towel, regardless of your experience. See you on the playa, Namaste!
