Since 2007, Black Rock Solar has been building solar arrays in Nevada and giving them away at little or no cost. We have built over 1.4 million watts of clean renewable energy in Northern Nevada to date! BRS prioritizes installations for schools, hospitals, rural communities, non-profit groups, and Native American tribes. We’ve also teamed up with other environmental organizations in GREENevada to provide student education and teacher support. At our 2011 Solar Summit, you will meet the staff and crew of Black Rock Solar as well as other Burners doing meaningful and innovative work around the country. Tell us about your projects and learn about ours. The purpose of this event is to bring together all of the different groups and individuals on playa doing work in renewable energy, climate change, environmental outreach and policy.
