Using RNA sequencing as a case study, we'll explore the relationship between science, technology, and humanity's place in the world.

Our resident PhD will fill us in on the latest in RNA sequencing technology, and how it is revolutionizing the way we understand cell behavior. Like the telescope and microscope before it, this technology is opening new areas of inquiry that were simply not possible in the past.

The speaker will also be speculating on future directions of the technology, including writing genomes.
