Dr. Kent Northcote on The right brain/left brain divide: a discussion of how the two sides of the cortex cooperate and compete. By examining the functional anatomy and studies of split brain patients, we plan to explore how each cortical side enables us to engage in language, mathematics, empathy and other aspects of our cognitive existence. In addition, we'll explore how each side, despite having different goals, contributes to the single, unified experience we call subjective experience.
