Description:
Have your nude portrait taken as part of an on-going photographic project. Each participant gets a free 11x14 silver print in the mail. Couples and groups are particularly encouraged. This year I will be shooting only between hours of 4 and 7PM. Please be patient if I am already working with someone when you arrive. I will give you my card and take your email and postal address information. Your print will arrive in the mail within several weeks to two months of the event; hand-printed gelatin silver prints are a very laborious process! Please don't wear clothes with tight rubber bands to the shoot, as we'll have to wait for the lines to disappear.
Please note that the idea is not as much to document Burning Man as to take a portrait of you set in the gorgeous desert. Therefore, I will probably ask you to remove such things as glitter, body paint and temp. tattoos. BUT PLEASE BRING PROPS! Dead animals, unusual (but not ravey) clothes, gas masks, medieval armor, etc.
If you'd like to assist me on this project, please get in touch ahead of time. I am looking for an assistant familiar with photographic process. Your ticket is on me.
