For several years, our camp has presented the Motel which offered BM guests a chance to have fun as well as to entertain their fellow Burners with safe adult entertainment. We have provided a motel motif that includes clean bedding, an ice bucket, and other classic motel environs to promote what adults do in such situations. At the same time, their shadows are projected on the fabric walls to entertain the outside guests with their ‘shadow play.’ This is the perfect melding of the voyeurs and exhibitionists that populate BRC. For many of our previous guests, our motel has provided them an opportunity to do something they may have only dream of prior, but in a playful and anonymous manner. This is our contribution to what we consider one of the most important aspects to a great BM experience; it is not a spectator sport!
