Black Rock Educators Consortium is an annual professional development opportunity that runs parallel to and in conjunction with the larger art festival in Black Rock City.As educators, we all bring so much back to our classrooms from the playa. The goal of BREC is to create a staff development opportunity unlike any other- where we help each other to bring the magic home to our students. All educators are welcome; Early-childhood ed, K-12, higher ed, adult ed, certificated, classified, administrator or school board member, all are welcome! We all have something to share. Teach a breakout session! Collaborate on lesson plans! Bring home a slick flyer to share with your fellow educators!
