Description:

What is water ethic? What does it mean to be connected to water? the land? each other? What are our responsibilities to keeping water clean and ensuring ample resources for all denominations of society? What are some strategies for engaging people in discussing and finding solutions for water quality and quantity issues? What role does spirituality play in terms of appreciating water and human behaviour towards water and environmental stewardship? We will explore and discuss these questions and more together. There will be examples presented from different places around the world (Singapore, San Antonio, TX, Bangladesh, etc...). We will then break out into groups to brainstorm what a local water ethic would look like in your watershed and prepare a fun pamphlet to educate and attract local citizens to join in the movement.
