The Hang, a U.F.O. looking instrument, was created in 2000, by Felix and Sabina, the Hang makers, in Bern, Switzerland. This remarkable instrument sounds like the celestial orbs, a harp, or what have you. As the primary instrument of sonic creation for Prateado, collaboration with some of the top live and electronic artists on the west coast bring an array of listening and movement experiences.

Prateado is currently based in Los Angeles, though finds home anywhere in the world, especially San Francisco, Berlin, and Rio de Janeiro.
