Description:

One of the most historically influential decades, the 1960s came and went, taking with them the ideologies of consciousness exploration, active environmentalism and true freedom until now. After over 40 years of dormancy, a new revolution has emerged, taken shape, revealed its face and resonated a strong voice to guide the global community.

Mitch Schultz and Charles Shaw share their new feature length documentary that focuses the lens at the nexus of this next-generation mystical revival. The growing worldwide community of like minds continues to grow and intentionally gather to celebrate life and create positive change on the planet. The project takes the pulse of the culture at transformational festivals around the world in 2012, including Symbiosis, Lightning in a Bottle, Desert Rocks, Sonic Bloom, Boom, Burning Man, Australia’s Eclipse 2012 and Belize Solstice 2012, and many more. With the backdrop of these amazing festivals and communicated through the individual festival participants, we explore a variety of different themes, including activism, art, consciousness, environmentalism, music, mythology, technology, and 2012 as a general framework to better understand and define the culture.
