Description:

Scouts and their parents meet at BRS headquarters and walk or bike to Earth Guardians on the Esplenade.First there will be a puppet show where they will learn about what Earth Guardians do and the importance of MOOPing.

Scouts will then be given their own reusable MOOP bag that they will personalize with sharpies. Scouts will then fan out for 30 minutes to do a group MOOP around the Esplenade. Upon return to Earth Guardians, MOOPers will be thanked with Otter pops.

About Earth Guardians:

Earth Guardians inspire the Burning Man community to embrace Leave No Trace (LNT) principles and practices. They also visit the Black Rock desert outside of the Burning Man event both to introduce participants to the beauty of the area and to participate in restoration and education activities.
