Description:

Danny of Dragon Smelters has a wealth of knowledge of both smelting and metalworking, and a history of coin currency. Scouts have the chance to make their own count out of recycled aluminum cans at Recycle Camp.

This year Danny has invited the Black Rock Scouts to join him. This is a good time to collect cans from your neighborhood to bring to Recycle Camp. Scouts will meet at BRS headquarters and walk or drive to Recycle Camp at the back of Center Camp.

About Dragon Smelters:

Transforming metal into art is their practice and passion. This is how they have participated in Burning Man for over a decade. Currency is an important aspect of any city around the world, since Dragon Smelters believe deeply that the Burning Man event is a place where gifting is the rule, the coin represents the theme of Fertility by creating a beautiful object from recycling so this keep sake can be exchanged as a token of positive energy between all participants.
