Kama Flight Massage blends the dynamism of contact improv, the serene flow of Watsu, the deep release of Thai massage and the exhilaration of aerial yoga. It comprises a new somatic modality for reanimating the body with its improvisatory flow and playful exploratory freedom. Supported on a massage table with your body borne aloft on the continually moving fulcrum of the practitioner’s body, the receiver is moved through a wide range of extended postures. Using a suite of practiced movements, such as pivoting his body under different joints of your body, the giver is able to move the receiver seamlessly and weightlessly throughout the course a session. He safely levers the receiver’s body into increasingly extended and pleasurable positions that combine deep hip opening, pivoting and spinal decompression that, collectively, evoke a deep state of surrender.
