Description:

Exploring empathy as the capacity to lead us from an ecological dark age and inform the applications of genetics and bioremedation into society. This talk is an invigorating and inspiring synthesis of scientific discoveries, shamanic techniques, communications with animal, plant, planetary intelligence and transcending the "Other" with empathy as primary toolkit for understanding the biology and consciousness of different sentient organisms. Tapping into the ability of shamans to imagine themselves imbuing the traits of animals has been a valuable way for a consciousness to expand itself beyond its biological parameters as we reach the apex of the ecological collapse, and realize the potential to unlock new horizons of what it means to be human in a post human identity culture.
