Description:

Conceived and choreographed to accompany the 'Embrace' sculpture, 'Embrace Pas de Deux' illustrates the act of falling in love as described through the art of classical and contemporary ballet. This eclectic dance piece explores the concept of accessing the Divine through romantic Love. It explores concepts of Divine Love by moving forward through history from Ancient Egypt, to the Classical period, and culminating in the present. The 25 minute piece includes audience lead group song and the sharing of personal intentions of Love. Embrace Pas de Deux features Sierra Nevada Ballet principal dancers Ananda Bena-Weber and Alexander Biber. The piece features the diverse choreographic styles of Rosine Bena, Horacio Cefuentes, and Ananda Bena-Weber.
