Description:

Experiencing the divine and magical sunrises on the playa is beyond words can describe. While we can’t escape the loud dance music in the morning, many dayburners (burners who are more focus on the daytime activities) are seeking solitude at the dawn of the day. NYC director/composer Dayburn (Charlie Wan) will be performing his original cinematic score at Black Rock Observatory (designed by 2013 Temple designer Gregg Fleishman) to accompany your deep connecting moment with the most important star in our universe - the Sun. There will be live visual projection of the sun from solar telescope by astrophysicist Matt O'Dowd. Any art cars with sound systems and FM radio receivers are welcomed to participate our additional immersive simulcast soundscape experience. There will be a small numbers of radio receivers available to be borrowed at the event. The concert starts at the first ray of light on friday morning (August 29, 6am). Bring your open heart and look to the east.
