The compassion corner will be an art and practice installation featuring the compassion prayer sound mosaic, a compassion meditation workshop, and, possibly, an extemporaneous talk on the science of compassion. The sound mosaic will offer participants the chance to sit and receive a shower of compassion prayers.

The compassion meditation instruction, rooted in Tibetan Buddhism, will offer guidance on cultivating engaged connection with others, with the intention of relieving suffering and growing happiness. Your host, a scientist and meditation teacher, will offer guidance from various realms of knowledge to promote the appreciation of common humanity and the cultivation of openheartedness that leads to fearlessness and joy.
