Description:

Free-form art class with sacred geometry in the mix! For over 2,400 years, the Golden Mean has fascinated mathematicians, biologists, artists, musicians, architects, psychologists and mystics alike. This “transcendental number,” 1.618… and the sacred geometry derived from it are the blueprint for all organic matter and growth on this planet. Artists such as Phidias and Da Vinci incorporated this sacred geometry into their works, believing it to create an aesthetically pleasing balance. Come to the Mycodelic Forest and learn a little more about sacred geometry and different ways to add it into your art while painting some works of your own. We’ve got acrylic paint, brushes and several sheets of heavy artist’s paper for you. (You might want to bring a hard, flat surface to work on, if you have one).
