Description:

Our worlds are shifting so drastically! How are we healthily holding cascading change? And how are we skillfully sharing our stories among diverse communities and across multiple views? Our worldviews often include a diversity of understandings the dominant culture considers crazy. What's crazy to us? How have we let in increasing amounts of the invisible? How can we keep breaking open over and over and not break? How do we balance revelations and responsibility, trust and urgency, crises and courage? And what skillful language and methods have we found to share these sacred, genuine, crucial, crazy things - creating allies rather than alienating, growing solidarity across the shifts? Joshua Halpern, MA is a transformation ecologist, an artist-activist-educator, and an edge jester. Josh will co-creatively guide us through a body/place based, love/justice minded, skill/story sharing, serious/fun forum for exploring these questions together. Josh has facilitated workshops for transforming homescapes nearly a half decade, has worked in local food justice for about a decade, and has been sharing the earth through art for three wonderful decades, at homes, farms, and sacred sites all over the world. He holds an MA in Integral Ecology from CIIS and a BFA in Film from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. His work can be found at placeplaying.com and he can be reached at [email protected].
