Description:

"The Internet of Things: Poisoned at Birth by the Inkjet Printer Business-Model."

The computers that engulf your body (cars, planes, houses) and that
you insert into it (prosthesis, pacemakers, hearing aids) are subject
to a ridiculous Clinton-era copyright law that lets their
manufacturers lock them so that you can't use app stores or
replacement parts of your choosing -- but worse than that, to keep you
locked in, the law criminalizes telling you about flaws in the devices
that you depend on for life and limb.
