Burning man is amazing. You'll find yourself running around, completely absorbed by the flashing lights and the chaos, and yet completely unable to experience it all. Do you ever feel like you never quite got what you wanted, that you kept missing this or that you'd promised yourself to do? I do, and I love it.

I propose we set aside a time at the Harmonic Convergence Camp to sit together in silence, and in an intentional abandonment of pursuit. I did it once last year. I practically kidnapped a couple people who were spontaneous enough and kind enough to play along with the silliness. It was quite fun. Immediacy, right?

I'm no zen master but I can give you a couple simple pointers if you've never meditated before. I think it will be rejuvenating, relaxing, and pleasantly weird.
