Memorial for Johnny "Irish" Considine
Description:
Johnny "Irish" Considine was a superb example of "hail fellow, well met." His friends weren't surprised to discover that he was loved and admired by an extended sea of humanity and that is what we most hope to celebrate. Johnny was an integral member of the New York City Burning Man community and a loving "playa mama" to his campmates at Love Potion and Duck & Cover. We plan to toast him with a Happy Hour at Love Potion, then migrate to The Man, where some of his ashes will be in The Man's heart. From there, we will erect our memorial to him in The Temple and, finally, travel to deep playa to scatter his ashes at sunset. It will be festive and filled with joy, just as Johnny was. For us, it will be as if he is joining us on the playa one more time! Bring bikes and booze!
