The threat of nuclear war, the next extinction level event,
catastrophic climate change, corporate compromise of our
food supply, and economic enslavement, all point to the
unsustainability of our current trajectory. With all of
humanity's advances, why can't we achieve peace and
prosperity for all? The underlying cause of our failure might
be gender inequity: women are our most underutilized natural
resource. Past societies which overcame war and poverty
were governed similarly to ours, with one difference-- the
existence of a fourth branch, consisting of post-menopausal
women only. Following this historical precedent, how can we
restore women's voice in government? And, can we do it in
time?
