Mindfulness and Loving-Kindness Meditation: Connecting to the Present Moment and Those Around Us.

Mindfulness is paying attention in a particular way on purpose in the present moment, non-judgmentally. This first part of this experience will focus on practicing mindfulness and bringing a sense of inner calm and peace to participants. The 2nd part of this experience will focus on loving-kindness meditation, a form of meditation that is focused on building a habit of selfless or altruistic love. With compassion-focused meditation, participants will practice loving-kindness towards themselves and friends, family, and acquaintances, even total strangers.
