While you’re already wearing a tutu and awakening your inner ballerina, why don’t you come learn a few fundamentals of the art of ballet. The class is designed for complete beginners so no prior training is necessary. It is meant to be more fun than technical. It will start with a gentle warm-up barre session including plies, degages, ronds de jambes and grands battements…and then we’ll learn a few simple combinations. Since most of you don’t bring ballet shoes on the playa, socks or very soft tennis shoes are fine! No bare toes to keep them protected as we won’t have a smooth floor.
