Description:

Milifiori clay bead making class - Milifiori literally translated from Italian means "thousands of flowers" and traditionally the bead making technique uses glass. However, we will be using polymer or sculpey baking clay for this project using a traditional rolled cane method for our design. Fun way to learn and take home a new skill as well create a pretty wearable piece of art. All skill levels welcome, subject of the design TBD based on consensus and or skill level of the class :) We plan to then bake the beads after the class. They can be worn on necklaces or crafted into buttons so feel free to bring your own necklace material, twine, or pins to attach to the polymer clay. Plan to spend about 45min to an hour creating your beautiful beads and approximately an additional 20 minutes for bake time in our ovens! All ages and skill levels welcome. Clay will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you brought some by chance to the playa. Due to limited supplies/tools and seating (unless you bring your own supplies and tools), the class will be first come first serve.
