Description:
Learn how to safely operate the only true skid-steer tracked mutant vehicle on the playa! You have seen it, now you can drive it!
Some mutant vehicles are dressed to look like they have tracks, but this is the real deal— 5 tons of fun!
A Frankenstein'd chimera of a Komatsu excavator and a 1959 El Camino that transforms into a robot—and—can be driven with a smart phone.
Really!
If that doesn't float your boat— how about flying in slow motion 9 feet up in the air?
Spin a playa donut in a flying car!
Once you are trained and exhibit the necessary skills and understanding, you will be eligible to receive an official Maria del Camino Operator's Certificate.
Prerequisite: A valid drivers license, as is required by the DMV for driving any mutant vehicle on the playa.
Where: Classes will be held near the Esplanade nearest Liminal Labs.
When: Dawn til 9AM, MWF
