James Joyce - Finnegan Wakes on the Playa 2017

Description:
Help us re-awaken mythical giant Tim Finnegan, the archetypal Everyman from James Joyce's epic novel Finnegans Wake. We are asking Burners to radically participate on the Playa in 2017 by reading a single page from Chapter 6 of Joyce's masterpiece on camera.
This will be our second year filming a chapter of Wake at Burning Man. In 2016, we filmed 121 Burners perform chapter 7 (Shem the Penman) of Wake. Here are a few short clips from last year's episode:

You can also bring along your favorite piece of music on your phone to accompany your reading if you like, and we will run the audio for your performance thru our mixer.
The final goal of our Finnegan Wakes project is to provide the world with the first ever complete edition of Finnegans Wake on film, performed by Burners from around the world.
