Description:
This year, Entheos will bring together a field of commercial trampolines to create a play park surrounded by netting and approximately 90 repurposed 275 gallon IBC water cubes filled with computer-controlled lighting. During the day, Entheos will coordinate a BRC-wide trampoline dodge ball tournament where Burning Man camps and groups of friends can compete for the title of 2018 Burning Man Dodge Ball Champions. At night, the trampoline field becomes a play and dance space for the party. Fog rolls out from underneath, lit by RGB LEDs tied to the sound/lighting controllers, projectors light up the trampolines with a constant swirl of visually engaging graphics, and the trampolines become reactive to the people playing on them. Sensors mounted on each of the trampolines can detect jumping. As people playing begin to explore and work together, new effects are unlocked by jumping in sync in particular patterns.
