Description:
Pesky Playa dust packed in those head holes? We can help with that! Our decidedly non-medical staff can fix you up with the tools you need to clean your nose and ears. Your throat? Well, that requires an exam, possibly a CAT scan, and perhaps a shot. Most people need a shot.
In a classic 3rd world clinic setting, our decidedly non-medical staff treats Burner's dust filled head openings. And inevitably winds up transporting or showing people the way to Rampart. We dispense ear swabs, essential oils, and tissues for those crusty playa boogers, and our N.D.'s (not doctors) give shots if necessary (and they're almost always necessary). These are administered via well aimed oral irrigation syringe and a foot or so (but sometimes so much more) of empty space. These can be alcoholic or not, depending on participant age and desire.
We do our best to make waiting for our services an interesting experience via our excessively low tech waiting room, and snarky or helpful nurses and staff, depending on their mood, and the heat index at the time. And new for this year, we have a CAT scanner, which is a plastic cat skeleton, liberally applied, and a bunch of old x rays we can put up.
