Description:

Are you a social snapper, professional photog, or just a lover of all things photo?
Join Pinhole Project and create pinhole art with a playa twist.

We have adapted a centuries-old technique to capture the incredible scale and
diversity of art and culture at Black Rock City — and, more importantly, to
capture the immediacy of moments, photons and people.

Each day, we head out to the playa with twelve 50-gallon cardboard-drum
cameras and use the unique combination of light, location and collective
imagination to document our city. We then return to our desert darkroom where
we develop 30 x 40 inch photographs that exhibit in Illumination Village, Center
Camp and off playa.

Join us as we create one-of-kind artistic records of the radical self-expression,
innovation and art that make our ephemeral city so special.
