From the dark side of the moon to the heart of the sun, the tiniest atom to the great interstellar expanse, the pulse of life to the great beyond, let us leave behind our divisions. The eclipse brings darkness, yet the light ever returns. We will always shine on, my bright ambassadors! When the time comes, my only thought will be, I wish you were here. ~ ~ ~ This is a time to simply be in your body, express how the music makes you feel, and move in ways that extends your inner self to the outside world. You share the space with others without talking, every dancer having a personal journey that may or may not directly interact with yours. This is a meditative practice; we dance together so that each may discover what lies within. ~ ~ ~ A note from the arranger: This has been a project long in the making. I have often felt the call of the dance from Pink Floyd’s music, momentary spans from so many different songs that called out to be joined together in one great epic track. What you will hear has been carefully selected, shaped and spliced together to create a seamless experience, from a meditative beginning, ever amplified with a gentle rise in intensity, until we reach a riotous celebration of life and energy at the peak. Like life itself, we release completely, winding down to a great finality. What is at the end of our journey? Have we lived our lives as completely and fully as we ever desired, as we look back from that long road? We can only answer these questions for ourselves.
