Description:

This is your opportunity to contemplate Deep Time while on the playa. Your journey will be led by geology experts Drs. Elizabeth Miller (Stanford U) and John Dilles (Oregon SU). Bike to the outer playa to contemplate the history of this place we call home, from the deep time geologic framework to the ice ages, first human inhabitants in the region, post-glacial warming and inexorable warming of the Anthropocene era.
