This is an open discussion about Burning Man, happening at Burning Man, during Burning Man. One of the most magical things about this festival (that many attest is “much more than a festival”) is that there is no centralized answer for “why do we burn a Man?” or “what is the idea behind The Temple?”
It is up to the citizens of Black Rock City to decide for themselves what this gathering is all about. Is Burning Man “just a party” or is there something more going on with this mysterious jamboree? There is no “correct” answer, but lets share our stories & talk about what we think is going on here.
