Description:

What’s more radically self reliant than being able to make your own incredibly unique and oh-so functional playa clothing using all basic, ethical and natural materials, come into our shade and learn an ancient and unique skill.
The most ancient of textiles is a marvelous material that can be shaped, moulded and sculpted, repels water and dirt and for these reasons it has a long history of being used for clothing, headwear and footwear. It makes PERFECT playa clothing, is ethical and sustainable! Full outfits can be made with the most simple materials - soap, water, towels, bubble wrap and some wool roving (wool before it's made into yarn) come by and learn the process of making wool into anything you can dream, without the need to sew a single stitch. You will be shown the basic techniques and examples of what can be made, and then have a chance to make your very own wet felt bracelet, a playa momento made from ethical and natural materials and your own hands.
Bonus Playa Points – this is the technique used to make wool dreadlocks!
