Capt. Rio Hahn, FRGS, FI’86, will draw on his experiences as a classical explorer and early psychonaut, as well as lessons learned from mentors such as Richard Evans Schultes, Albert Hofmann, and Timothy Leary. Rio, was scientific chief of an early Amazon expedition that included Terrance and Dennis McKenna, and Wade Dave. Rio will share with you his experiential approach for using psychoactive substances. The current renaissance of psychedelics brings opportunities for both positive and negative experiences, and is unfortunately rife with unethical shaman, guides, etc. The development of an appropriate Mind Set will help you navigate the complex world of the psychedelic experience.
