The Queen Dick is hosting a unique evening with DJ Gus Emmett from 7pm to midnight, followed by a deep playa star gazing excursion lead by The Queen Dick’s very own NASA astronomer Boris. London favourite, Gus Emmett (Warm Up) brings his eclectic melodic techno and house vibe to the playa, tailoring each track, and each and every minute of music, to the energy, the crowd and his surroundings. As the desert heat dies down, we’ll dance in tandem with the rain and galaxy gods, and celebrate our nourished planet and diamond encrusted universe with wonder. Following this, NASA astronomer Boris L will take us down to the darkest depths of deep playa to answer Q&A about astrophysics, have actual observations through binoculars, and will cover the formation of planets, stars, our solar system, our galaxy, and the universe.
