Burning Survivors Cancer Walk to the Temple!

Cancer survivors and those who love us hold an annual walk (14 years!) to celebrate the fact that we are alive, we are negotiating cancer, and we will continue to do so! This is a celebration of life and our community who make this life so special. We also honor and remember those among us who walked the walk, but are no longer here. This is a walk of joy and tears to remember the good things about who we are. WE ARE HERE and WE BURN BRIGHTLY.
The walk is open to anyone who is touched by cancer in any way. Meet at 5 pm on Wednesday, August 28 at the Man (12:00 side, toward the Temple). We will walk to the Temple together and give a big “YAHOO.” If you can’t walk that far, we can arrange transport. Coordinate with Cinemagirl at Gears&Bears at Ganymeade and 2:45, and we will carry you there if need be!”
