Description:

5-20 minute long, one on one deep discussions about what you believe and why. Together we will examine the reasons why you hold the belief.

How much do we care if our beliefs are true? If it turned out that one of our comforting beliefs were false, would we want to find out? What is Truth anyway? Are some pathways to truth more reliable than others? Some would argue that truth is subjective, while others claim truth can never be possessed. Is there a difference between truth and Knowledge? How is perception different than reality, or are they the same thing? Are you and I equally experiencing a separate vantage point from within the same universe, or am I a part of your simulated dream? How would we know? Does it matter? How do we justify what we think, or is this even possible?

Once we get passed these important abstract questions, we can begin discussing what it is that you believe. (God, Karma, astrology, tarot, politics, philosophy, Earth is a sphere, climate change, big bang, souls, spirts, bigfoot, vegetarianism, Polyamory, love, war, American dream, Science, perception; literally whatever you believe). The goal is to gently and respectfully challenge your belief with questions in order to better understand you. ‘Epistemology’ is the philosophy of knowledge and this workshop will use Epistemological interviewing as an exorcise in critically reflecting our own understanding. All you need is the courage to vulnerability express your idea with an open mind.

At the end of your interview, you may turn the questions onto me.
Let us seek truth together!
