BRCH3 believes in encouraging the playa denizens toward both self-sufficiency & stewardship of our environment. One of the largest sources of moop is the “disposable” bikes that many buy for 1-2 burns and then send to the landfill because it no longer works as it should due to playa dust and corrosion. New for 2022, BRCH3 will be hosting a bike maintenance & basic bike repair seminar. The goal will be to increase knowledge about maintaining one’s bike without needing to rely on others & increasing the longevity of burner bicycles, thereby reducing the unnecessary waste-consumption cycle of many repeat burners.
