Description:

A bugle-bird hangs a last note on the rose-gold sky. A heartbeat skip in time, an amber sip of memories...Taps and Tea brings You and Me to Us and We.

Join us for Taps and share a cup of tea with new friends while reflecting on the day’s exploits or sharing 1 thing that you are thankful for.

Taps is the military song played on a bugle for funerals at at 9pm at most military bases. When the airforce base down the street started playing it nightly i hated it....it reminded me of death, loss and militarism. But it wasnt going to go anywhere. So we reframed. The Buddhists say that each breath is a tiny death. So each night we die and are reborn when we awake. So now we use the nightly taps to connect with eachother through eye gazing or making out. What a re-frame!
