Bay Area Buzz Kill presents An Apology Workshop
Description:
Ever wonder why your well-intended message is not getting through?
Dazed and confused about someone getting MORE upset when you’re trying to make it better? Ever feel like you are on the right side of their/her/history but can’t find your way through? OR Did you receive a BABK Citation at some point in the burn?
Then this is the workshop for you!
In this workshop, we will consider how to clue into when we have harmed another, how to gather important information, connect with feelings, and finally use all of this to apologize with better results. We will also identify how interpersonal harms often connect to dominant narratives. Better relationships, quicker resolution, stronger connections, and healthier communities! More thoughtful and heartfelt apologies make a more thoughtful and heartfelt world.
