Overview: In recent years, artificial intelligence has been increasingly used in astronomical research. Deep learning requires massive amounts of data, and astronomy is where AI comes into play. Tannya’s talk explores how machines can help the astronomical field do data analysis, such as, capturing new stars, new extraterrestrial planets, and even dark matter.

Bio: Tannya is a Dubai-based technology evangelist, A.I. Expert, and futurist. Through her work, Tannya encourages current and future leaders to explore the ethical and practical implications of exponential technologies on business, life and society at large. Tannya is an advocate of radical innovation, the rise of meaningful work in a post-automation world, and a proponent of educational reform.
